Forest Development today announced that acclaimed chef and restaurateur David Burke has selected Nautilus 220 as the location for his first restaurant in Florida. The luxury development, currently under construction at 220 Lake Shore Drive in Lake Park, FL, is alongside an active marina and includes condominiums, retail shops, and professional offices. The two-level, 7,500 square foot waterfront restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating will feature modern American cuisine and open in June 2024 upon completion of Nautilus 220.
“We are excited to welcome David Burke and his team to Nautilus 220, said Peter Baytarian, Managing Partner, Forest Development. He is a successful and passionate culinary master who will create a true destination restaurant for our residents and the community.”
“Of course, we’re looking forward to entering the Florida market, but what’s really exciting is to be doing that as part of the Nautilus 220 project because it is going to re-define luxury living in northern Palm Beach County,” stated David Burke, CEO, David Burke Hospitality Management whose current roster of 17 restaurants are in NY, NJ, NC, CO and Saudi Arabia. “Nautilus 220 is a one-of-a-kind development and we’re going to bring a unique and unexpected experience to it.”
Burke envisions a waterfront brasserie serving some of the signatures from his repertoire of creative modern American dishes, along with those created specifically for the new restaurant that will take advantage of the local catch and other Florida-centric ingredients. They will be presented in a visually stunning space that will showcase custom-made blown glass elements and take full advantage of the views its waterside location will afford.
Nautilus 220 is comprised of 330 one-to-four-bedroom residences in two, 24 story towers ranging from 1,500 to 3,400 sq. ft. with unobstructed views of the Intracoastal Waterway and Atlantic Ocean. An array of amenities elevates every day including a one-acre outdoor amenity deck, resort-style pool, rooftop lap pool, wellness plaza, putting green, club room, theatre lounge, billiards, off leash dog run, guest suites and private beach club access. Interiors by Steven G. Inc. is the designer for the lobby, common areas, 5th floor amenities and model residences. Located in the famed Palm Beaches, this luxe development is alongside an active marina with 100 slips for boats up to 100’, and includes waterfront restaurants, retail shops, and professional offices.
